Born on December 1, 1945 at Egeria, he was the son of the late Fred Walker and Verlie Wood Walker.
Mr. Walker was a graduate of Spanishburg High School and had worked as a machinist. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and "carrying on" with friends. Mr. Walker was of the Primitive Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason, and by brothers, Leon Marshall and Weldon.
Those survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife of fifty-seven years, Vera White Walker; sons, Eddie "Sam", and Michael and his wife Karrie. Grandchildren, Christin, Ben, Michael, Makayla, Ashley, Hayley, Jeremy and Ryan. Great grandchildren, Marshall, Jaycee, Riley, Peyton, Easton, Ethan, and Gunner. Siblings, Fred, Phyllis, Connie and wife Joyce, Wendel and wife Phyllis, and Lorraine and husband Victor. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
According to Mr. Walker's personal wishes, no services will be held.
