Harry Elmer Aber was born April 18, 1933, in Greenville (Orange County) New York, to Robert Charles Aber Sr. and Laura Belle Carter. Harry was the youngest of the 11 children born to Robert and Laura. Harry married Jennie Groff. Harry was an Orange County, New York resident his entire life. He owned a house with his wife Jennie in New Hampton, Orange County, New York for many years. Harry and Jenny had no children.

In the early fall of 2020 the New York State Police were called for a wellness check on Harry Aber. No one in the area had seen him in recent days/weeks. Per the state police, Harry was driving to visit Jenny in a nursing home in New York, and on his way to visit her, he became very ill. He drove to a local emergency room where he was hospitalized with COVID-19 and passed away shortly after. It is believed he passed away in August 2020. His burial location is unknown at this time.
