Janet was born January 7 1940 in St Louis Missouri, to Costica "Connie" Vaporean and Elizabeth Barbara Adams Vaporean. She was their first child and the first Vaporean grandchild born in the United States. The family moved to California when she was 12. She married Dallas Hopper in 1959. They were blessed with three children. She raised them by herself after their divorce (1976). She was a great mother, friend, sister and daughter. She lived life to the fullest while always putting her children first. She is survived by her daughter Theresa "Teri" Hopper, and two sons Robert "Bobby" Hopper and Dallas "Buddy" Hopper II. One grandchild Robert Hopper II. Her sister Beverly Gould and brother David Vaporean. Also by many friends, and family.

She was preceded in death by her father Costica "Connie" Vaporean and her mother Elizabeth "Betty" Vaporean.
