Bonnie L. Watson, 85, a resident of Homewood at Martinsburg, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Hopewell, PA, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Mildred (Shauf) Kensinger. On May 26, 1956 she married Eugene F. Watson at Lakemont United Methodist Church.

Bonnie was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing. She retired as a registered nurse at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center after 30 years of service. Bonnie was a member of Lakemont United Methodist Church, where she had previously played the organ, and the Rincon Garden Club. She enjoyed gardening and painting.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Lakemont United Methodist Church, with Jackie Clabaugh, CLM officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg. The family requests that donations in memory of Bonnie be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children. Please make checks payable to SHC-Philadelphia, in care of Terry Diamond, Shriners Hospital, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19140.
