HERMAN R. SHELTON, 82,of Memphis died December 22, 2007 at Methodist University Hospital. He was a retiree from Veterans Administration Hospital. He is survived by his children, Richard, Vincent (Emma), Kelvin, Pamela Winfrey (Ralph) and Darlene Jackson (Carl); four sisters, Vivian Shipp, Mattie Elem, Rosie Lee Shelton, Katie Bethea; and a brother, Herbert Shelton; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 3, 2008, 4-7 p.m. at M J Edwards Funeral Home (Whitehaven) and Funeral Services will be Friday, January 4, at 11 a.m. at Bereans Missionary Baptist Church with Interment to follow in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
