Funeral Service for Ronny Eugene Brown, 70 of Pocola, Oklahoma will be at 2:00pm on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Evans Chapel of Memories in Pocola, Oklahoma with Reverend Jerry Underwood officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Pocola, Oklahoma under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home.
Ronny was born on July 20, 1951 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Lois (Miller) Brown and James Brown and passed away on February 21, 2022 in Hackett, Arkansas. He was married to Beverly (Clark) Brown on June 12, 1971 in Pocola, Oklahoma. . He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Barbara Milosav. Ronny enjoyed fishing and hunting and teaching his children and grandchildren how to hunt and fish. As everyone knows, he also enjoyed pestering people whether they liked it or not. His family and friends meant the world to him.
Survivors include his wife, of 50 years, Beverly Brown; daughter, Shana Hodges and husband Buz; son, James Brown; grandchildren, Sam Hodges, Katie Hodges; brother, Bud Brown, numerous other relatives and loved ones
Pallbearers will be Wes Riggs, Shane Riggs, J.R. Owens, Brandon Matthew, Jarrod Ridenour, and Pate Jones. Honorary Pallbearers will be LeRoy Hagar, James Anderson, Bob Cowan, Ricky Howard, and Kenny Pipkins.
Viewing and Visitation will be Thursday February 24, 2022 from 9:00am - 6:00pm with the family greeting friends from 4:00pm - 6:00pm at the funeral home in Pocola, Oklahoma .
