Nelda Ruth Moore, 72, of Decatur, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at her home.

Funeral was Jan. 11 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur.

Nelda was born April 3, 1942, in Minden, La., to James Frank and Lilly Clifford (Holley) Clary. She married Frantz Ernest Moore Jr. Oct. 7, 1959, in Marshall.

She was a Century 21 real estate agent for 15 years in Irving. The couple moved to Decatur in 1998, and she and Frantz later became members of Victory Family Church in Decatur. Nelda was the kind of person who was always there to lend a hand. She was an antique collector and loved thrift-store shopping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers William Charles Clary, John Ray Clary and Richard Glen Clary; sister Pamela Elaine Clary-Wiser; and grandson Thomas Iven Sorrell Jr.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Frantz Moore of Decatur; sister Mary Jo Smith of Tyler; daughter Grace Moore of Decatur; sons Frantz Butch Moore of Hawkins and Marshall Moore of Cadillac, Mich.; granddaughters Shalon Coursey and husband, Chet, of Decatur, Lisa Rice and Christy Bunk; and Morgan, Daiden, Alex, Kaili, Rhylee and five other great-grandchildren.
