Wanda Lou Johnson, 65 years, of Kannapolis, passed away on February 18, 2022. Wanda was born in Burke County, North Carolina on September 8, 1956 to the late Fred and Alma Louise Helms Johnson.

Wanda retired from Tube Lite in Huntersville after working there for many years. Wanda was devoted to her family. She was a member of West Point Baptist Church in Kannapolis. She loved to sing, fish and going to the beach and mountains.

Wanda was predeceased by her brothers, Roy, Carson, Johnnie, Bobby, Larry Johnson, Arthur Wayne Setzer and Arthur Caleb Setzer, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are her life partner, best friend and caretaker; her daughter; her son; her two step children; her three brothers; her sister; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 21st from 12:30 to 2:00pm at Whitley's Funeral Home. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow at 2:00pm in Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
