Robert Vann Cobb, age 87, of Tanner Williams, MS passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at home in Tanner Williams, MS. Mr. Cobb was born November 11, 1933 in Choctaw County, MS. He is the son of the late Lacy Boyd Cobb and the late Janie Ruth (World) Cobb. He married Cresie Elizabeth Griffin on March 29, 1964 at Tanner Williams Holiness Church. Mr. Cobb served his country in the US Army. He worked as a painter at Ingalls Shipbuilding for several years and retired a business manager of Paint Local Union #1225. After retirement he drove vehicles for Joe Bullard Dealership in Mobile, AL, until his health started failing. He was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church. He was preceded in death by parents Lacy and Ruth Cobb, 4 brothers, John William Cobb, Billy Calvin Cobb, Tommy Alvin Cobb and Bennie Truman Cobb.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years; Cresie Elizabeth (Griffin) Cobb; one sister: Lily Virginia Jackson and one brother: David (Barbara) Cobb

The family would like to give a special thank you to Shannon Dickerson and Nita Poole with home health hospice.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS with Brother Donnie Williamson and Rev. Wendell Stork officiating. Burial will be in the Tanners Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 1:30-2:00pm at Sigler Funeral Home, 4248 Main St., Lucedale, MS.
