John's utmost priority and motivation in life was his family. He coached each of his children in sports with memories that will last them forever. His hobbies included being a most admired, inspiring, and dedicated coach to children in Newtown Baseball, Northampton Football and St. Andrew's Soccer. John taught his players more than just the sport and had a niche for developing each player's talents. Every player played, and it was important to him to teach them life lessons, win or lose. His greatest advice being to fight through adversity, no matter how harsh life can be or how many times you fail. He also enjoyed vacationing with family in North Wildwood, Cape May, Knoebels and Disney World. An avid Eagles Fan, John also loved fishing, hunting, hiking, playing golf, card games, and entertaining family and friends. "He had a larger than life personality" and you knew when "Johnny Wags" was in the room. The world surely skipped a beat when he passed. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 6-9 P.M. and Friday 10-11:15 A.M. at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Rd, Newtown, PA. 18940, followed by his Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
