She was born November 11, 1933 in Wilkes County to Luther J. and Nannie Jane Richardson Prevette.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, William Carl Sparks, Jr.; sister, Vickie Call; and brother, Eugene Prevette.
Mrs. Sparks is survived by her sons, Gary Sparks and spouse Sharon of Iron Station, Gwyn Sparks and spouse Eula of Ronda; five grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Miller Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
