Visitation for the friends and family of James E. Bryant, age 79, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Benefield Funeral Home from 4:00-6:00 PM.

A private funeral service will also be held.

Mr. Bryant passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Bryant of Roanoke; two daughters, Benita Brown (Mark) of Roanoke and Rita Young (Ron) of Wedowee; his fur baby, Emma; extended edited generations.

A Clay County native, Mr. Bryant was born on July 21, 1942, the seventh child born to George and Grace Suggs Bryant.

He was a member of High Pine Baptist Church and retired from Uniroyal. Mr. Bryant enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet-shooting and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved working in his yard and garden.

Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, William Holliday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations in memory of Mr. Bryant be sent to the Randolph County Animal Shelter at 104 Animal Shelter Road, Wedowee, AL 36278.
