She was born on Aug. 19, 1951 in St. Louis, MO.
Sharon was a loving mother, loyal and generous friend. She was a foster mother for over 40 years. Sharon opened her heart and home to many people over the years.
She is survived by three sons, Dink Simmons, William Simmons, Joseph Washington; two daughters, Shalita Simmons, Kimberly Smith; one godson, Carlray Anderson; two goddaughters, Natia Hutt, Yolanda Willams; fifteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great great grandson; four brothers, Mel Lovings, James Lovings, Wayne Lovings, Craig Lovings; three sisters, Jeanine Lovings, Margie Rhodes, Gerolyn Lovings; numerous nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, Edna Lovings and sister, Vilie Russell.
Visitation will be held a the Carlinville American Legion on Feb. 21, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. For any questions or concerns, contact Host Benitta Gross (granddaughter).
