Ronald E. Pierce was born on November 21, 1942 passed away on October 10, 2021 from natural causes.

Ronald was born to Helen and William Pierce in Waukegan, IL. After Ron graduated from Waukegan High School in 1960, he went on to be a field medic for the USA's Army in Vietnam. After Vietnam, he was honorably discharged and went on to study and graduate from Iowa Wesleyan in 1969.

In 1980, Ron met Phyllis Hannon at work . In January 1982, they went on to marry. They had a beautiful loving marriage living in Illinois, North Carolina, and Florida. They doted on their nieces and nephews, and happily spent their retirement near Phyllis' parents; Edna and Richard.

In retirement Ron loved to golf, fish, watch and do trivia, go on cruises, do handyman projects around the house, drink red wine and chat with his friends, visit his family in Chicago and dote on his cats; Chessie, Brooklyn, and Gato.

Ron was predeceased by his loving wife, Phyllis and his younger brother, Don. He is survived by Bonnie Ray (sister) and numerous nieces and nephews.
