Mr. Robert L. Sawyer 78 of Ringgold, Ga. formerly of Scottsboro passed away on Friday February 18 at his home. Robert enjoyed fishing and was retired from TVA where he worked as an Electrician out of the Power Services Shop in Muscle Sholes, Alabama.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 23, 2022 at the Rudder Funeral Home in Scottsboro, Alabama from 11:00 am until pm until 1 pm. Funeral services for Mr. Sawyer will be in the Chapel of Rudder Funeral Home immediately following the visitation with Bro Joey Guess officiating. Interment will be in the Pinehaven Memorial Gardens Hollywood, Alabama.
Robert is survived by his two daughters Bobbi Jean Sawyer, and Jacqueline (Todd) Potter, Grandchildren
Jordan, Kendall, and Seth Smith, Carmen and Audrey Potter, Stephanie Crossley, Rob and Zach Sawyer, and ten great grandchildren. And also one sister-in-law Barbara Sawyer. Robert was preceded in death by his wife Norma Jean, Son Carey Thomas Sawyer, and his parents Oliver and Virginia Sawyer.
