Skippy was an exceptional bowler, enjoyed playing pool, baseball, collecting Elvis memorabilia, WWE wrestling, playing horseshoes, playing croquet, and met many friends at the Casinos. Skippy will be remembered for his sense of humor, as he would instantly joke around with anyone he met.
Skippy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters Holly Hampton of Holiday Island, AR, Tammy Semiche and husband Shane Semiche of Fort Smith, AR, Heather Jones and husband Jeff Jones of Fort Smith, AR, Grandsons Corey Semiche and Christopher Jones of Fort Smith, AR. Skippy is also survived by his sister Sandy Smith of Fort Smith, AR, Niece Erika Wentz of Fort Smith, AR, and Great Nephew Tyler Harrison of Fort Smith, AR.
Skippy was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Hampton, his parents Ellis and Elsa Hampton, and his brother Richard "Ritchie" Hampton.
Skippy's life celebration will be on Tuesday February 22, 2022, from 5p.m. – 7 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel, where family and friends will meet. Reverend Chris Remaley will be officiating on Wednesday February 23, at 1:00 p.m. at the National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Corey Semiche, Christopher Jones, Tyler Harrison, Jeff Jones, Shane Semiche, and Joseph Bratu. Honorary pallbearers will be Shirney Altstatt, Brent Semiche, and Jeffrey Lee.
