Earnestine Green, 91, of Gainesville, FL passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Haven Hospice.

Mrs. Green was born on December 30, 1930 in Ocala, Florida. She was employed as a CNA at the Bailey House and loved pottery, and playing the piano. Her favorite song was "Rough Side of the Mountain".

She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Green, and three sisters, Fannie White, Alzie Williams, and Idella Riggins.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories; two daughters, Patricia Curry and Johnnie Mae Brown, both of Gainesville, FL; brother, Richard Mitchum of Lake City, FL; sister, Loussie James of Gainesville, FL; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Green will Friday, February 25, 2022 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at Chestnut Memorial Chapel.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Forest Meadows Memorial Park East, 3700 SE Hawthorne Road, Gainesville, FL 32641, with Pat Pugh, officiating.
