"James Oubre

Metairie--Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 17 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel for James Bartel Oubre, 91, who died Saturday, May 14.

Burial was in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.

Survivors include his wife, Marie Celena Konneker Oubre; two brothers, Louis Oubre of St. Martinville and Lawrence Oubre of Port Arthur, Texas: and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Robert and Daniel Oubre; four sisters, Louise Oubre Marbito, Ina Oubre Champagne, Evelyn Oubre and Lillian Oubre La Fontaine."
