Lizzie Farrington, born May 15, 1886 in Wolverhampton England to James and Mabel Farrington. She was the third born of James and Mabel Farrington's 13 children, however for many seemed to be the oldest since sisters Annie died young and Ada one year older was mentally impaired. At 5 ft 3 inches tall, blue eyed Lizzie was highly energetic, and even in her old age very spry. When almost 90, she could still spring out of a chair like a teenager.
Lizzie had one child Hilda when she was 23 years old. Hilda was warmly welcomed by her grandparents James and Mabel. When Lizzie was 24 the whole family immigrated to Canada and then on to Michigan. Lizzie did not marry Arthur Badger until she was 34 years old to Arthur Badger. They had 3 more children together: Grace, Lillian and Arthur. She died in 1973 in Royal Oak Michigan and was buried at Oakview Cemetery.
