Obituary
Lee A. Alverson, 59, passed away Monday afternoon at his home on Mullin Road, Dexter. Lee was born in Syracuse on September 3, 1954 the son of Harley and Eileen Rogers Alverson. He graduated from Indian River High School. After leaving school he served as a United States Marine until 1972. He moved to Dexter and lived on Mullin Road until the time of his death. Lee worked as a mechanic for Anchor Motor Freight. Lee enjoyed hunting and playing softball. His true passion was Bowling. Lee was very proud of his 300 game which he accomplished on May 16, 1999. He is survived by his son Lee M., Henderson, a grandson Peyton, Dexter, a brother Jay, 2 sisters Mrs. David (Lori) Kitto and Mrs. Ronald (Susan) Tarzia , all of Dexter. A niece Caitlin Eselin, Adams Center and a nephew Connor Tarzia, Dexter. Funeral Services will be Saturday January 4,2014 at 11 A.M. at Dexter United Methodist Church,210 W. Kirby St. with Rev. Sally Buyea, officiating.Spring burial will be in Dexter Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Donations can be made to the Dexter United Methodist Church Food Pantry.
