Jean Baker (nee Weber), 92, of Alexandria, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Highlandspring of Fort Thomas, KY. Jean was born April 17, 1929, in Alexandria, KY. Jean ran the canteen in the Veterans Hospital in Fort Thomas for many years. She also worked at Walmart in Alexandria as the telephone operator. She liked to watch sports and loved baseball. Jean was a member of Saint Paul's United Church of Christ, Alexandria, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Baker; parents John and Clara (Lickert) Weber and a brother, John Harold "Sonny" Baker. Jean is survived by two children, Carol Baker and Darrell Baker and several nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, 1 North Jefferson St. Alexandria, KY 41001 from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in the Alexandria Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul's Church or the Salvation Army.
