Robert "Bob" Riley Richardson, passed away on February 12, 2022 at age 84. He was born October 10, 1937.
He graduated from Thibodaux High School and Southeastern Louisiana University.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps coming from a long line of Marines in his family. He retired from Exxon with 30 plus years.

Bob loved teaching young people Sunday school, confirmation, as well as going to camp with them in the summer. He absolutely loved to participate, coach, and watch sports such as baseball and football. He also enjoyed bowling and playing golf.
family. Bob was known to give the best encouraging hugs and to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable in all situations. He loved music, and was very knowledgeable of song titles and the artists, and he loved to dance to that music. He never met a stranger or forgot someone's name. He usually knew most of their life story and their kin folk.

He also served as a Stephen's Minister at St. Timothy's on the Northshore. He truly enjoyed being a part of the Cursillo community and worked his way up to serving as Rector.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Everette Richardson and Mathilde Virginie Richardson, as well as his two brothers, Everette and Jack Richardson.
Bob is survived by his wife, Rev Carol Richardson of 58 Years; his son, John Richardson of Strasburg, Ohio; daughter, Rebekah Richardson of Lacombe, LA; and grandson, Hunter Richardson.
