Cynthia Cheryl Higdon, who resided in Cedarville, Arkansas, died Friday, February 18, 2022, at Baptist Health Hospital in Fort Smith. She was born on February 2, 1952, in Joplin, Missouri, to the late William Charles "Bill" Higdon and Bessie B. (Jones) Higdon. She was 70 years old. She was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Carter.
Cynthia was a retired bookkeeper.
She is survived by her children, Jeremy Ganes and wife Kerrie of Fort Smith and Heather Weaver of Van Buren; one brother, Andy Higdon and wife JoAnn of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Brandon Ganes, Faith Weaver, Taryn Turner, Hannah Ganes, and Aubrey Turner.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Cremation Services in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
