Life's Epitome

On June 14th,1953 in Midway, Texas ,heaven sent an Angel
to the late Ferguson and Freddie Mae Tucker, who they name
Pearlie Mae Tucker. She would spend only a small portion of
her childhood in Midway before relocating to Houston, Texas
with her family.

Pearlie accepted Christ into her life at an early age. She joined
Mt. Mariah Baptist Church, under the late Pastor O.G.Myles,
where she served on the Usher Board. She was also blessed
with a large and loving family. who she treasured above all.
She was a devoted wife to the love of her life, John Freeman
who she met in 1990, and would later accept his hand in
marriage on June 29th, 1997. Together they raised three
daughters, Sonia, Akili and Tasha.

Pearlie received her formal education from Sam Houston
High School, After graduation, she began her career as a
dialysis technician where she dedicated the next forty-
five years to her career. During that time, Pearlie would
develop lifelong relationships with her colleagues and
all those who crossed her path. Everyone who had the
pleasure of meeting her would say she had a gracious
personality, kind heart, loving spirit, and a strong
work ethic.

Pearlie was a proud sister, wife, godmother,
grandmother, aunt and friend. She was also a great
dancer, amazing cook and a giver from her heart to
any and everyone. Pearlie was such an integral part
of her immediate and extended family, the Anchor
that can never be replaced.

Pearlie departed this life on February 10th,2022.
Her memory will forever remain in the lives of
all who knew her.
