Mrs. Cassidy was born in Atlanta, Georgia the daughter of the late Pauline Dickinson Carter and Earl F. Carter, Sr. and was preceded in death by her husband, William James Cassidy, Jr. and her brother, Earl F. Carter, Jr. She was a homemaker and a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mrs. Cassidy is survived by her son, William J. Cassidy, III (Michele) of Macon; grandchildren, Brian Cassidy (Lori), Kelly Dahlquist (Bob), and Amy Lynch (James); great-grandchildren, Corinne Williams, Ella, Carter, and Cassidy Lynch; great-great-granddaughter, Carlie Waterston; nieces, Gaye Carter, Mary Kay Byerly, Lee Winters (Patrick) and Stephanie Rogers (Robert).
