Daughter of the late Wyatt and Nancy Wolford Blankenship. Carol is a 1968 graduate of Mullens High School, shortly after graduating she got married to Roger Dale Gibson and they were married for 52 years. She was a homemaker and dearly loved her family. She never knew a stranger and would do anything to help anyone. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Roger Dale Gibson four sisters Bessie Montgomery, Janie Samson, Kathleen Blankenship and Hattie Dyer and a brother Wheeler Blankenship. Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters Kimberly Michelle (Floyd) Adkins of McGraws and Erica Elaine (Lester) Frankum of Shady Spring three grandsons Austin Tyler Adkins, Nicholas Tanner Adkins and Zachary Frankum a great granddaughter Zamira Frankum and Zania Frankum due in May and a host of other loving family and friends.
