She was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Sedalia, daughter of the late Ira and Rosa Decker. She was married June 21, 1941, in Sedalia to Wes Gehlken, who survives of the home.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Kay George of Raytown; one son, Gary Gehlken of Kansas City; one sister, Mrs. Nadine Duncan of Viola, Mo.; three brothers, Orval Decker and Otto Decker of Sedalia, and William Decker of Kansas City; and two grandchildren.
