"Tish" as she was known by friends and family was a graduate of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Despite her hectic schedule, she always made time for everyone. She was steadfast to provide support and love where and when it was needed most. Tish was also an avid gardener and animal lover. She thoroughly enjoyed the heavy manual labor of creating something from nothing. Her rock gardens were renowned in the neighborhoods she lived in.
Tish is survived by her son Richard in Washington and daughter Wendy in Georgia. She has five grandchildren, Jessica, Richard, Russell, Jacob, Alexis, and a great-grandchild Madison.
Her request was to release her ashes at sea into Puget Sound near the Point no Point lighthouse, a favorite area of hers.
