She was predeceased by : her husband John Palmer Holmes; and her brother Edmund G. Barron. She is survived by : her daughter Nancy Holmes Ploener (Paul) of Fayetteville; and her great grandchildren, Palmer Bolton, Nolan Bolton and Mirabel Kohane Naoi.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Mrs. Holmes' honor at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 819 Highway 314, Fayetteville . In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant Presbyterian Church, Basset Hound Rescue of Georgia (P.O. Box 680322, Marietta, GA 30068), or Southwest Christian Hospice (7225 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291).
