MADISON - Robert S. "Bob" Owens, age 64, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022. He was born on Dec. 10, 1957, in Madison, the son of Robert and Mae (Miller) Owens.

Bob graduated from East High School in 1975. He was part of the Goodwill community integration program, and employment program. Bob was very proud of the work he did. He was commended for his hard work as an employee.

Bob loved eating breakfast at Dennys and Perkins. He enjoyed going for walks, bowling, playing softball, watching all sports, especially the Packers, and mostly being in the company of his dear family and friends. He was an all-around great guy and will be sorely missed.

Bob is survived by his sisters, Janis (Dennis) Barman, Jean Caucutt and Joni (Richard) Russert. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mae; and brothers-in-law, Bruce and Ted.

A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bob's name to Goodwill.
