Eufaula, Alabama - Larry T. Jones, 75, of Eufaula, Alabama, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Columbus Regional Hospital Northside in Columbus, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 11, 2022, at 10:30 A.M., at the Chapman Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Wayne Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery at 1 P.M. with military honors with Chapman Funeral Home directing.
Born December 16, 1946 in Columbus, Georgia, Mr. Jones was the son of the late William Lloyd and Carrie Johnson Jones. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the United States Army where he retired as a Master Sergeant after 26 years of service. He retired from Civil Service after 30 years. He was a reserve Deputy Sheriff with the Lee County Sheriff's Office for 20 years. He was an active member of the NRA. Mr. Jones was passionate about his grandkids, the NRA and the United States of America. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his brother, William Don Jones.
Survivors include his wife: Glenda Jones of Eufaula, Alabama; 2 daughters: Kim Brewer of Eufaula, Alabama and Traci Brown of Columbus, Georgia; 4 grandchildren: Hannah Brewer, Ty Brown, Nathan Brewer, Abby Brown; 1 brother: Alvie (Jo) Jones.
