Charlie was born on March 29, 1956, to Verden Roberts and Opal Elizabeth Roberts. He graduated from Madill High School with the class of 1974. Charlie married Margie Shorter on September 16, 1977. He worked at Atlas Roofing for 30 years, during this time he served as president of the United Steel Workers Union for the plant and retired in 2011. The couple opened "It's From The Heart Inc." at Lone Grove, Okla. in 2013. Charlie enjoyed black and white movies and his 70's music. He was an avid OU fan and would always support his team; but his favorite sport was watching his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Linda Mitchell and Bridget Hill, and brothers; Ronnie Roy and Buddy Roberts.
