Deceased: Mr. Beecher Alvin "Poppy" Brown age 80 of Rickman, Overton Co., TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday evening, February 17, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side.



Personal Info: Mr. Beecher Alvin "Poppy" Brown was born on Thursday, May 29, 1941 in Monterey, Putnam Co., TN to the late Porter and Vauda (Bilbrey) Brown. Beecher first and for most loved his Lord and Savior and was a member of the Fairview Freewill Baptist Church. He loved his family and friends and was a member of the Mason Lodge 259, a member of the Shriners and the Eastern Star. Beecher or "Poppy" as he was known accomplished a lot of things in his life and enjoyed what his accomplishments were; he drove a paving truck, was a Grocery store owner; was a song leader and a member of a singing group. Also, a Deacon in the church which was a great honor. He loved to grow a big garden and traveling to Florida for the winters. His family will greatly miss him and grieve for him but will join him in Heavenly song one sweet day again.



Survivors: Wife: Joyce Brown; 1 Daughter: Rhonda England and her husband David; 2 Brothers: Perry Brown, Raymond Brown; 1 Sister: Sandra Boles; Other survivors include other family members along with his church family and friends.



Preceded in death by: In addition to his parents; 4 Brothers: Billy Howard Brown, Glen Dolan Brown, Infant twin boys.



Pallbearers: Larry Langford, Shawn Billingsley, Alan Bilbrey, Phillip Williams, Wayne Dillon, Kenny Ray. Honorary: Doug Brown, Danny Brown, Donald Brown, Danny McDonald, Doug Parsons, Gary Bowman, Alvin Walker, Jim Roberson, Boyd Cantrell.



Services / Burial: Funeral services for Mr. Beecher Alvin "Poppy" Brown will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 2 PM from the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial to follow in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening, February 19th starting at 5 PM until 9 PM with a Masonic service at 7 PM and then on Sunday, 20th starting at 12 Noon until service time. Officiating with the service will be Bro. Jason Groe and Bro. Kevin Whittenberg.
