Mrs. Mary L. Rudy Mooney, eighty-seven, widow of John J. Mooney, 16 S. Ann St., died today at 8:20 a.m. after an illness of eight weeks. Born in Lancaster, a daughter of the late John W. and Anna Carroll Rudy, she was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Surviving are a son, John R., Lancaster; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and a sister, Miss Martha Rudy, Lancaster. (Lancaster New Era - Dec 8, 1961)
