Bryan Dewey Boudreaux, age 41, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022. Bryan was a longtime resident of Houma as well as Dularge.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Saturday, February 19, 2022, in the Magnolia Chapel of Chauvin Funeral Home beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. A Liturgy of the Word Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a burial at a later date in St. Francis Cemetery No. 2.
Bryan is survived by his loving children, Kason Dewey Boudreaux, and Macy Elizabeth Boudreaux; parents, Don and Faith Boudreaux; his best friend/pet, South Louisiana Goldbrick "Brick"; godchild, Abigail; nephews, James and Ethan Boudreaux; niece, Amber Prestenbach; three great nephews and one great niece. He was also survived by his godmother/aunt, Darlene Bergeron, and his aunt Theresa Porche. Bryan is also survived by numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Bryan is preceded in death by his brother, James "Jamoe" Lee Boudreaux; paternal grandparents, Charles "Don" Boudreaux, Sr. and Kathleen Worden Boudreaux; maternal grandparents, Dewey John Porche and Georgia Ella Savoie Porche; uncle, Gilbert Porche; aunt, Sandra and husband Tom Chauvin.
Bryan was an amazing man with many talents and was known as a "Renaissance Man". He was very patriotic and a proud veteran and a member of the "Charley Company" with the Army National Guard. He received two purple hearts, a bronze star, and a combat infantry badge for his service in the United States Army.
Bryan was a 1998 graduate of Terrebonne High School, thereafter, he received his bachelor's degree in Accounting from Nicholls State University. He worked many years as a tax accountant, and some may know him as "The Tax Man".
Anyone who knew Bryan, knew he enjoyed playing numerous amounts of instruments, dancing, playing baseball, carpentry, cooking, golf, fishing, and helping others in any way that he could.
Bryan was a family man and loved spending time with his children. Their family unit was "Hometeam".
Bryan was known for his honor, integrity, love and pride. He was a member and past Centurion of the Krewe of Hercules, Disabled American Veterans, Purple Heart Society, and fought for all disabled veterans' rights. He was also a member of St. Eloi Knights of Columbus.
Bryan leaves a beautiful legacy behind. He is now reunited with his only brother James "Jamoe" and rests in the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
