David was born September 8, 1954, to Gene and Betty (nee Neuhaus) Bailey in Racine, WI. His early life was spent in Somers, WI and Oakland, CA then moved to Burlington where he graduated from Burlington High School "Class of 72". On December 28, 1974, he was united in marriage.
He was preceded in death by his father Gene Bailey, his mother and father-in-law Riley and Gladys Green and a brother-in-law Art Green.
