A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, she retired in 2016 from Harris-Teeter and then worked at Hamrick's for 4 years. She was a lifetime member of Sweeten Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
Miss Taylor was a daughter of the late Ben Richard Taylor and Nannie Jane Johnson Taylor.
Surviving are her sisters, Margaret Nelon of Asheville, Frances Hensley of Marshall and Paulette Robinson (Clyde) of Leicester; brothers, Don Taylor (Susan) of Leicester and Jack Taylor of Candler, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Gashes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
