Tommy "Tony" Leroy Collier, Jr., age 63, resident of Lynnville, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Tony was born in Maury County on January 12, 1959 and was the son of the late Tommy Leroy Collier, Sr. and the late Opal Reid Riley. He was a member of Open Door Baptist Church. He was a former resident of Culleoka and enjoyed farming. He worked with cattle, horses, fencing, and mowing. Tony had a joking personality and liked to pick on his family and friends. He also enjoyed traveling the backroads and riding around town. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Helton Collier of Lynnville; son, Trey (Ashley) Collier; daughters, Covey Kittrell, Polly (T.J.) Chapman, Rachel (Matthew) Karban, and Tiffany Goad; brother, Charlie (Amy) Collier; and seven grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Collier; sister, Dorothy McMillian; and granddaughter, Samantha Salas.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 21st at 2:00 PM with Pastor Dwight Boswell officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Baptist Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Sunday, February 20th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Benefield, Mikey Collier, Ricky Hobby, Brian Hobbs, Tyler Wright, Logan Roder, Blake Fralix, and Zach Richardson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Wade Hobbs, Timmy Clark, Harold Richardson, Robert Whitley, Phillip Brassfield, Michael Richardson, Bradley Richardson, Jerry Nevette, and all the members of Open Door Baptist Church.
