Our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Judy Green Housley, 73, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022 in Farr West, Utah.
She was born on Friday, September 17, 1948 in Brigham City, Utah, a daughter of Ralph Chester and Beth Johnson Green.
She graduated from Bear River High School in 1966.
Judy married her sweetheart, Thomas Vincent Housley on December 5, 1970 in Tremonton, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Ogden Temple on December 5, 2019. He preceded her in death on October 19, 2018.
Judy loved cooking, but she was famous for her cinnamon rolls. She also enjoyed sewing, crocheting dish cloths and giving them away, throwing awesome parties and being with her family. Her grandchildren gave her so much joy and loved spoiling them, all Judy wanted in life was to make everyone happy.
Surviving are three children: Gina (Mathew) Gilbert; Cindy (Todd) Thomas; Blake (Abby) Housley, 10 grandchildren, Zack, Wesley, Jacey (Haydn), Colby, Gage, Cooper, Trevor, Hailey, and Bridger; one sister, Stephanie Doutre; sister-in-law, Diane Green and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Thomas, and four brothers, Dennis, Kirk, Randy and Jeffrey Green.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Willard Cemetery, Willard, Utah.
Family will greet friends on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 S., Brigham City, Utah.
