William Robert Chapman, age 69, of Knoxville, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, February 15, 2022.

Bill was born to William B. and Velma Kate (Crisp) Chapman in Loudon, Tennessee.

He graduated Roane State Community College with a degree in Electrical Engineering and attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He spent his career in Electrical Sales serving the commercial and residential real estate market. Bill loved working with his hands. He enjoyed many aspects of woodworking, from turning bowls to creating unique ink pens and kaleidoscope eggs. He enjoyed UT sports and loved riding motorcycles, but his true passion was coaching girl's soccer which he did for more than 20 years.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Laura D. Chapman, Knoxville; son and daughter in-law, Jacob and Miranda Chapman, of Connecticut; brother and sister-in-law, David and Darlene Chapman and niece, Hanna Chapman, all of Las Vegas, NV.

Services honoring and remembering Bill Chapman will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022 in McGill Click Chapel with Rev. Lynn Goodwin officiating.

The family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday prior to the service at McGill Click Funerals & Cremations.
