Sean Daniel Casey, now at peace and free of pain, has passed away at the age of 49. Sean was born on May 27, 1972 in Columbus, Nebraska to Daniel Casey and Cynthia (Wake) Casey. He grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska attending Southeast High and UNL. Sean spent time working with his dad at his auto body shop in Columbus but he particularly loved his time in golf course management in Montana, Missouri and Nebraska. Biking, skateboarding, snowboarding and golf were his favorite pastimes. "Time outdoors is time well spent" was a favorite motto.
Those left to mourn his passing are his mother and stepfather, Cynthia and William Reed; his father, Daniel Casey; sister, Megan (Shawn) Levitt; step-siblings, Patrick (wife Marcie) Reed, Shannon Hurt, and Heather Reed. Aunts and uncles: Linda and Steve Slonecker, Marsha and Mike Miller, Monica and Andy Drozd; Shane and Lori Wake and other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his pal and beloved beagle, Lerm. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his revered german shorthair pointer, Rudy.
