CHILDRESS - Jewel Montgomery, 92, died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church with Randy Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Montgomery was born Feb. 26, 1915, to Jessy James and Pauline Brooks McWhorter. She married Lester L. Montgomery on Nov. 7, 1931, in Hollis, Okla., and she was a homemaker and farmer.

Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Cross Harris of Childress; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
