Marjorie Montgomery, age 91, of Forsyth
June 18, 1930 – February 16, 2022
Marjorie McRae Montgomery was born June 18,1930 to Don and Kathleen McRae and died February 16, 2022, at the age of 91.
Her childhood home was on the Rosebud Creek. She had an older sister Donaleen (deceased) and a younger brother Wally.
In the fall of 1949, she married Kent Montgomery and they had seven children: Heather (Don) Kirk (Teresa) Molly, deceased (Jere) Jill (Kirk) Gwenn, deceased, Zane (Lynda) Leta. Grandmother to seventeen: Sarah, Rachel, Matt, Keeley, Mia, Sierra, Kyle, Garrett, Meredith, Bethany (deceased), Mara, Lana, Ailee, Jade, Madeline, Mora, Savannah. She was a great grandmother to 14 and great great grandmother to 3.
She was a ranch wife for 65 years and played a major role in building and managing a cattle ranch.
She was an active member of Grace Bible Church in Forsyth.
Her relationship with Jesus brought her comfort, strength, and the ability to love unconditionally.
Marj's family was important to her and encompassed many.
A celebration of her life is planned for June 18, 2022, at Rosebud County Fairgrounds. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rosebud Community Center.
