James Edward Moss, affectionately known as "Jimmy," 75, of 510 Thompson Street, passed away Wednesday, February 16th, 2022, at Blue Ridge In Brookview Healthcare Center.
Born in Jonesville, S.C. on June 15th, 1946, he was the son of the late George and Molly Scates Moss and previously worked as an auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Louise Moss, sister in law, Jessie Mae Moss, two brothers in law, Bobby Mills and Hennies Hames.
Jimmy is survived by a brother, William Lewis Moss of Gaffney, four sisters, Joyce Mills and Doris Dover (Charlie) of Gaffney, Virginia Moss (Loyd) of Blacksburg, S.C. and Cheryl Moss (Jack) of Pacolet, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, February 19th at 1p.m. in the Rehoboth Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Don Paris officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
Jimmy's family would like to thank Brookview House for their care and kindness given to their brother and his family throughout his stay.
The family will be at their respective homes.
