He was a native of Pennsylvania and work brought him to the River Parishes in 1982. He often joked that his love of boiled crawfish is what kept him here for the past 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julia Ann Stearns Hamilton; parents, Annabelle Hamilton and Robert Hamilton; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his children, Lesa (George) Turkovich, Daniel (Theresa) Hamilton and Ronald Keith (Kari) Hamilton; 6 grandchildren, Jessica Johnson, Daniel Hamilton, Morgan (Sheila) Hamilton, Brittany (John) Walker-Strickland, Jessica Walker and Garrett Dunkelberger; great grandchildren, Brody Hamilton, Hunter Hamilton, Preston Walker, Ryder Hamilton, Jaxon Strickland, Asher Hamilton and Ezra Hamilton; 2 sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews.
