Lifelong Morgan County resident, Druscilla A. Lind, age 91, passed from her earthly life at 8:40 am on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at the Cumberland Trace Senior Living Facility in Plainfield, Indiana. Druscilla was one of four children and the only daughter born to the late Paul and June (Shields) Hunt. She was born in Mooresville, Indiana on Friday, July 25, 1930.

Druscilla graduated from Mooresville High School with the class of 1948. A few months following her high school graduation, she married her soulmate, Elvin E. Lind on August 8, 1948. Elvin preceded her in death on January 20, 2012. Elvin and Druscilla shared nearly sixty-four years of marriage and were rarely without one another throughout their lives. They worked alongside one another and were co-owners of Lind TV Sales and Service in Martinsville during the 1970's and 1980's. In 1989 Druscilla began working as a cashier at the Martinsville Walmart, where she worked for over fifteen years.

She was a proud and loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved and adored her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she took pleasure in quilting, sewing, and reading. She also enjoyed feeding the birds, doing word puzzles and getting manicures.

Along with her parents and husband, Druscilla was preceded in death by one son, James A. Lind in 1955; one grandson, Aaron Stafford; three brothers, Joseph Ward Hunt, Paul Francis Hunt and David Loren Hunt.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, February 21st from 12 noon - 2:00 pm at the Brooklyn Christian Church. Rev.
