Mr. Franklin Cummings, 79, of Dunn, passed away January 31, 2022. He was the son of the late James and Mary Cummings of Sampson County.
He attended schools in the Sampson County area and prior to his retirement, he was self-employed auto mechanic.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his beloved ones - Elizabeth Atkinson of Raleigh, Mary Cannon of Goldsboro, Seterria (Omar) Blue of Fayetteville; Julius Atkinson of the home, Ka'miya, Harmony, Brantley, Kayson, Ivory, Justice, Emory, and Mah'zhi; siblings - Grace (John) Dennis and Eva Shaw of Princess Anne, MD., Bernice Eason and Betty McDougald of Dunn, Eugene (Sarah) Cummings of Seaford, DE., Charlie (Elizabeth) Cummings of Johnson City, TN., and a host of other relatives and friends.
The public viewing will be Monday, February 7, 2022 from 1PM - 5PM at the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 8, 2022 @ 1PM @ the Dafford Funeral Home Chapel, Dunn. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery, Dunn.
