Jeffrey Charles Miller, 72, of Granger, died Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at St Joseph Hospital.

Born December 10, 1949, to the late Russell and Bettie Miller, he was a 1968 graduate of (Lafayette) Jefferson High School. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1972.

He married Cheryl Kolacz on April 29, 1978, in South Bend, and she survives.

Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1972-1978.

He was employed by 1st Source Bank starting in 1979. He started his career in Human Resources and went on to manage several bank branches, eventually retiring as an Assistant Vice President of Mortgage Origination in 2016.

Mr. Miller was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. He was involved with Boy Scout Troop 572, Pee-Wee Football, and the Kiwanis Club.

He enjoyed golf, live music, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.

Surviving is a son, Matthew (wife: Sloan) of Plainfield, IL; daughter, Kelly (husband: Matthew) of Powell, OH; and son, Brandon (wife: Vanessa) of Indianapolis; along with six adoring grandchildren, Easton Miller, Hendrix Miller, Bay Miller, Cortland Miller, Porter Vessells, and Nola Vessells. His sister, Janette Boyle (husband: Steve) of Carmel, IN also survives.

Visitation will be 12:30-2:30pm, Sunday, January 9,2022 at Saint Joseph Funeral Home, 824 South Mayflower Road, South Bend, IN; with funeral service there at 2:30pm, Father Bill Schooler officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
