J. Ronald Anderson, age 68, of Doraville, GA after a lengthy illness went to be with his Lord on May 11, 2007. Mr. Anderson was a member of the North Avenue Presbyterian Church, he was employed with MARTA for 25 years where he was instrumental in the transportation routing for the Atlanta Olympics. He was an Elderly and Handicap Specialist and was instrumental in the setup and implementation of the Americans with Disabilities Act as pertaining to MARTA. He was an avid member of the NRA. He was survived by his wife, L. Elizabeth Anderson of Doraville (now deceased), three step daughters, Gwendolyn McGrew of Frederick, MD, Pamela O'Neal of York, PA and Tracy Hayman of Beaufort, SC; one great aunt, Robertine L. McAdams of Riverdale, GA; one sister, Celeste Anderson Sumner of Atlanta, GA; one nephew, John R. Sumner, Jr. of England; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
