Miss Freda Kay, 68, of Cottageville, Rt. 1, died Monday, December 11, 1972, at the St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington following a short illness. Miss Kay was born December 28, 1904, at Cottageville, the daughter of the late Dudley and Emma Donahew Kay. She had made her home with a niece, Mrs. Marie Sturgeon, of Ashton, W. Va. for the past four months. Surviving: one brother, Roy Kay of Milton; three nieces and two nephews. Service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Hopewell Baptist Church at Mt. Alto. Burial will be at the Hopewell Cemetery. The Rev. Gerald Sayre will officiate. Friends may call at the Casto Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Wednesday (today).
